  My favorite game at the moment is a mod for Arma2 called DayZ. It is a persistent-world FPS game with permadeath. It's based on a military simulator, so it's very brutal and unforgiving.

  It's the most aggravating, unforgiving and buggy game that I've ever played. It's also a hell of a lot of fun.

  I second the above. even scarier now that you spawn with no weaponry to speak of. They added the ability of the axe to me used in melee. I think you can do so with the crowbar as well. Good fun.

  I have joined a clan so that I have some people to cooperate with that won't shoot me for my can of beans.

  Hey John your installation instructions link is broken. I'm assuming you have to have Arma2 to play?

  You do have to have Arma2 Combined Operations. I think it cost me about $30.

  OK, nevermind that link. All the links on that page are broken.

  Finally got it loaded only to have it crash my video card. I'm going to have to play with the settings. I'm in Vegas until Friday, maybe we can get together over the weekend and team up.
