Account Creation, Linking, Steam Friends, and All the Rest

So, hey. Our Account Creation and Linking system had a really tough go of it today.

I'd like to apologize. For all of you who were unable to create accounts or link your Steam purchases, or download from our site, or any of a myriad other problems, we are very sorry. We did our best to prepare, and things just went sideways. On the bright side, for those with accounts, or who managed to squeeze through the logjam, the lobby worked like a champ! But I don't think that's the majority of you.

Again, we're not OK with that, and we apologize.

So, current status - things are looking up! Our account system appears to have stabilized! We have isolated and resolved the issues that were bringing everything to its knees, and brought on board some beefier servers to shoulder more of the load. We hope that you don't have any problems going forward - the account creation system probably isn't going to see THAT much action after initial account creation, to boot.

Once creating or logging into your account, you should see a button named

REGISTER TORCHLIGHT II FOR INTERNET PLAY -- OR -- VIEW MY PRODUCTS & KEYS

Hit that thing -

then

LINK MY STEAM ACCOUNT -- OR -- CHECK MY STEAM ACCOUNT FOR GAMES

and on from there!

We hope you have no further difficulties getting into Internet based games.
