SunLit Winter Warfare [1]
The cold winds are blowing, the snow has begun to fall for many of you, and the holiday season is upon us. We wanted to do something to mark the occaision, so SunLit is having a virtual Winter Festival of sorts on one of our Day of Defeat servers.
It's the very best kind of winter festival, of course. You can stay inside and huddled over your warm monitor, there are no annoying relatives, and, of course, you get to shoot guns and blow stuff up.
The server normally known as the SunLit Annex [2], has been renamed SunLit Winter Warfare [3] and is running a mapcycle of winter and wintery maps exclusively. If you are up-to-date with our custom maps (i.e., you have all our map packs [4] installed), you do not need to download any thing. All the maps are simply winter maps already in our vast custom DoD map library.
You can see a list of all the winter maps, see pictures of all of them, and download any you might be missing on our Winter Warfare [5] maps page. If you are missing most of the maps, you can also download a special map pack on the same page.
