SunLit CS:S Custom Map Pack #1 [1]
We have our very first custom map pack ready for the SunLit Counter-Strike:Source server. You can see thumbnail and full-size pictures of all the maps, and download individual maps or the map pack, from the SunLit CS:S Map Pack #1 [2] page.
There is a new mapcycle on the SunLit CS:S server. You can see the mapcycle on the CS:S mapcycle [3] page. We've set it up more or less alternating two standard maps, then a custom, then two standard maps, etc.
We have {TooN} Marvin to thank for the maps. He did the hard work of hunting down the maps and picking out the good ones. Additionally, Marvin is helping us fine-tune the CS:S server to better serve CS:S players, while still maintaining the unique things that make it SunLit. If you're a CS:S player, come check it out and offer suggestions for improvement in the forums.
If you're a DoD junkie who has yet to try CS:S, now is a good chance. These custom maps show what is possible in the custom mapping world with the Source Engine and should therefore be a good indicator in what the early DoD:S maps will look like.
