In Canada , the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) regulates ISP practices. ISP providers have the following responsibilities
ISP protocols for blanket throttling of internet connections when peer to peer traffic is detected does not differentiate from legitimate on line gaming.

However, it appears that other games are also being affected.
For any and all gamers who are for net neutrality and against arbitrary and erroneous throttling of legitimate STEAM and other on line gaming, please sign this petition
