Both 1 and 2 had multiplayer.

Both also had me use a lot of real life time on them... *sigh*

yeah I played 1 back in the dialup era. clunky but probably the first game like that that did. Other online games were floptastic back then unless on LAN. x-wing vs tiefighter......impossible to play...just threw out the disk in my spring cleaning this year. quake only really worked well on LAN...but there it did great.The first FPS that let you do more than just one on one death match.
