Dod_wall was original made for the DOD 1.x. This re-make for DODS looks much different, and plays differently as well.
There are five flags, with a two-man cap at the middle.
This map is different from most maps in that much of the gameplay travels vertically as much as horizontally. The map consists of a sort of castle with a courtyard at the middle.
Unlike the original map, the courtyard is very small. There is, therefore, very little open space in the map. Most of the fighting is in close quarters, often in darkened rooms.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, you'll like this map.
The framerates are acceptable.
The map may be suitable for match play. |
