Dod_stug is one of the better custom maps for DODS. It has all the necessary ingredients for a great map. It is set in a town centered around a bridge.
It is about the right size -- just big enough to give it some depth and complexity, but not so large that it takes forever to get to the action. The look of the map is nice and consistent with the WWII theme of DODS. The layout is good, with many different paths to get across the map -- this newest version is much brighter and has equalized sniper/rifle vantage points.
This final version was optimized and finalized by Furyo and included in the CAMP2 map pack.
There are five flags, including a two-man cap in the middle on the bridge.
The framerates are good.
