A version of dod_risk - fun map |
Review: |
Dod_risk_b9 is one of most original and clever maps ever made for DODS. Players start out as mouse-size players on the edge of a table, looking over a Risk board laid out on the table. As you walk out over a territory, you "fall" into the map and, essentially, spawn on the territory you walked onto.
By capturing Risk pieces (man-sized, 3-D Roman numerals scattered on the map) and flags, teams capture continents. When all the continents are seized, the team wins. The map is a lot of fun.
The map author recommends putting in place class limits on this map so that there are no rifles, snipers, or MGs.
This is newer version of the map dod_risk_b7 by the same author. This map differs mainly in the size of the "world." This one is much bigger.
The framerates are good.
The map is not suitable for match play. |
