From the author:
"The basic layout is inspired by Bleibringers dod_saisie, but since he did not allow me to use the name for my portation I implemented several things which I thought would fit into the map. Apparently the biggest change is the whole lightning. Where dod_saisie had its grey and rainy athmosphere, dod_beaumont plays at a warm autumn sunset mainly to heavily use and underline those great HDR Effects of the Source Engine. I took one of those war-torn HL²-EP:1 skies which matched my concept of the map perfectly."
