Dod_paysage is one of those maps that, whether your enjoy playing it or not, you have to admit to the craftsmanship of the author.
There are four flags. The map is set mostly outdoors, with a few buildings scattered around in a country village type setting. The map is, essentially, a big circle -- if you turn right when exiting your spawn, for instance, you will eventually come all the way back round to where you started.
One of the first things you notice is the lighting. It appears to be sunset or sunrise, and it is really beautiful.
The inside of the buildings is also well-done. It looks realistic, there is enough stuff inside to make it look authentic without making it impossible to pass through without tripping all over everything.
The framerates are very good for a map of this size and quality appearance.
The map is suitable for match play. |

I love this map. I find it plays well. The only flaw is the difficulty getting out of the allied spawn. It is very maze-like.
