Description: simplistic castle map
Review: Dod_foxhunt_source is an acquired taste.

There are five flags, three of which are two-man caps.

This was one of the very first custom maps made for DODS. It looks it. The textures and layout are very basic.

The map is two make-believe mirror-image castles facing eachother over a dry river bed, and which are connected by a bridge. The center flag for the map is on the bridge.

The castles don't look like real castles. The map looks completely contrived -- the castles are all shiny clean and constructed in perfect right-angles.

If you ever had a castle play set when you were a kid, you know kinda what this is like. Throw in a few army men, and you have the whole picture.

However, I find the map fun to play. There's a good mix of close-quarters fighting, as well as plenty of work for riflemen and snipers.

The framerates are not great, but acceptable.

The map is not suitable for match play.

Not a big fan. This really should be treated as an arena map. In that context it has some merit. Good for practicing rifle skills against other players. really annoying with several snipers or mgs.
