Dod_cal_bouddha_b2 is one of the better custom maps created for DODS.
There are five flags, including one two-man flag at the middle.
The map is set in a town stradling a river, with two bridges connecting the halves of the town.
The main bridge is intact and holds the center flag, a two-man, for the map. The other bridge, often referred to as "the broken bridge" in the game, is blocked by a burning tank. It is passable, but players will often fall off or get burned by the fire when trying to cross.
You can also get from one side of the map to the other through the river. The river area is really stunning to look at. This is the sort of thing that really shows off the water reflection graphics effects in the Source engine.
This map is a remake of the classic (uber classic?) dod_cr44a map from DOD 1.3.
The framerates are acceptable, but not stellar. Expect even a fairly robust gaming rig to see low fps when in the river area around the broken bridge.
The map plays very well with small and large numbers of players.
The map is suitable for match play.
