Dod_chicago_beta17 is one of those maps that looks really cool in the pictures, and sounds really cool when you hear of the concept, but just doesn't quite work out.
The map is a work of art. The author has recreated a piece of Chicago from the 1930s, complete with many great -- and original -- car and truck models. It looks neat, and it's a very original concept.
Unfortunately, the framerates are pretty horrible. Those neat car models take a toll on the rendering.
The map is not suitable for match play. |
